Ok, so i recently just watched the Angels and Demons movie, and if i were to rate it from 1-5, 5 as the highest, it would probably be 3. I liked the special effects, and the casting (oh my gawwwd, Tom Hanks is AWESOME) a lot. The only problem is, like most movies, they didn't exactly follow the book. That is what most people say when they read a certain book before watching the movie. It's not like the book, it's so like the book, this and that. In this case, it was practically summarized to the point the important characters from the book wasn't even mentioned and scenes were changed. One scene that really disappointed me was [SPOILER ALERT] when the Camerlengo (played by Ewan Mcgregor), after being caught as the suspect of all the murders, killed himself immediately after the truth was known. It dissapointed me because i knew that this was one of the most important scenes in the book. The camerlengo wasn't supposed to commit suicide right after he saw the angry cardinals' faces. But anyway, no need to tell the whole story here. It was going on OK for me until that scene. I accepted the fact that they summarized the whole thing and went straight to the point. Besides, the book was so long and the movie reached more than 2 hours (already summarized) so i don't blame them (the makers) if they missed some parts. Sorry, just can't help but be dissapointed (only with that scene).
